The unspoken word often contradicts the assumptions we make about a person's thoughts. This acrylic 3-D painting features two masks representing partial faces, illustrating the illusion of understanding another's emotions. Objects surround the faces. Looking through the open eyes of each face, one can see an apple, ladybug, or hot air balloon. Yet, the question remains, "What am I truly thinking?"
